Ms. Pavlova Luvaaahhh ( The Pavlova )
Meringue, Creme Chantilly, Raspberry, Shaved Belgian Chocolate and a sprinkling of powdered sugar. That's all it takes to make this elegant dessert. THE PAVLOVA.
The dessert is named after Anna Pavlova, a famous Russian ballerina. It's made primarily with egg whites and super-fine sugar foamed into a cloud of crisp, airy and yet so delicate meringue. The dessert is served for afternoon tea but it can be enjoyed like any pastry in any occasion. Its origin is disputed whether it's Australian or from New Zealand. But I think it's only fair to say that it came from 3 countries - Russia, Australia & New Zealand. Why? because the inspiration came from a Russian Beauty, then inspired the pastry chefs of the other 2 countries.
