Asian Pork Buns
I am a big fan of pork buns. A lot of asian restaurants here in NY have them on the menu. Last December one the items in our catering menu included bite size pork buns. It's a bit of a challenge to make something packed with so much flavor in one bite, let alone making miniature bao buns.
But I made it, anyway!
The braised pork has to be well seasoned and packed with flavor. the sauces were made, vegetable garnishes done. Everything was made with love! haha
The bao dough was rolled thin and punched out into small circles, proofed and steamed.
The results was great! The buns were super soft as a pillow.
I would have these any day of the week!
