KIMONO WEDDING CAKE


 As always, I feel privileged to make someone's wedding cake. There's a lot of pressure and challenges involved in making the cake. For one, its the vision of the bride for her wedding cake we want to materialize. Planning and sourcing materials are always crucial. 

Last Sept. 16, the bride's Kimono Wedding Cake became a reality. It is made of red velvet cake, cream cheese filling and black fondant. And then we took photographs the design of the kimono and printed it out on edible wafer paper. Swatches of the bride's kimono are shown below.

The result was stunning!
