Adding Flair To A Flourless Chocolate Cake
Baking is a skill learned and to be mastered and creativity is a talent and a resource that we tap into for visual esthetics. The end product is a result of years of handwork and constant learning.
Here is a flourless chocolate cake. Easily before serving we can dust it with powdered sugar and serve with cream and we can call it a day.
But what if... we elevate the already scrumptious pastry into something more elegant..
For this flourless chocolate cake, a thin layer of chocolate ganache coats the cake and then the sides are covered with chocolate bark shavings that have been tossed with edible gold dust. Frosted rose petals and raspberries are neatly arranged on top as garnish.
