Retro Chic Wedding Cake

I made a wedding cake recently made of layered cheesecake and rose scented genoise sponge cake as it's top tier and the rest of the cake was rose scented sponge cake layered with light mascarpone cream and fresh berries! These are cakes perfect for summer because it's light and the abundance of sweet berries are just fitting for summer desserts and wedding cake for that matter!

The look was a simple satiny buttercream almost like an ecru and shimmery silk color and the fresh flowers and greens just gave it an elegant touch of color.

It was a minimalist design but nothing short of spectacular! Less is more!
