Roses and Vanilla Cake

Rose and Vanilla go well together. It's subtle. It's familiar. It's quaint. It's Delicate.

What started out as a special order from a woman who wanted a cake to discover the gender of her baby bump born a cake as lovely and fresh as the soon to be baby. And she's yet to find out once she took a slice of the cake. Her wishes - if it's a boy the cake will be tinted blue. If it's a girl the cake will be tinted pink. The decoration will have no indicators of the gender of the baby. It's going to be a surprise!

The stork says - It's a Girl! so the cake was made with layers of pink vanilla cake, rose buttercream filling and then covered in Vanilla Buttercream as smooth and light, like no other. (Our customers at the shop love our buttercream). The cake had a message in pink and blue letters "It's a _______!"

The cake she got didn't exactly look like this but it was equally beautiful.
