The Merveilleux Pastry



Curious about Merveilleux Cake? It has its origins in Belgium and now you find them in some french provinces. It's a merigue cake covered with whipped cream (flavored or plain) and then rolled, coated in chocolate shavings, or chocolate chips in some French provinces. In Belgium, crushed speculoos cookies is also used to cover the cake.
