Birthday Cake with Woodland Critters
This is Peter's first birthday cake! It's a simple vanilla cake with a light blue vanilla buttercream but the real attraction of this cake are the woodland critter cake toppers. A bear, a fox, a raccoon, an owl, a couple of birds, and the birthday celebrant represented by a rabbit wearing a crown. The fondant critters were prepared a week ahead to make sure they set firm and solid.
